These photographs are the result of a series of trips along the Mayan route made over several years, following the tradition established by nineteenth-century travelers who went to Mexico in search of adventure and mysticism.

Javier Hinojosa undertakes a visual itinerary through the lands of the Mayab, capturing the spirit and essence of an area full of mystery and unresolved enigmas.
