We have different prices and ticket options:

General admission: $ 200
University students: $ 150
High school students: $ 100
Uruguayan retirees, children under 12, accredited journalists, ICOM members, Montevideo Libre and Tarjeta Uruguay Social holders: free

On Mondays, admission to the museum is free until 2 pm.

Can you take photos in the museum?

You can take photos without flash of the exhibitions housed in the museum. In addition, the MAPI offers its facilities as a location for filming and photo shoots.

This must be coordinated with the Museum’s management.

Is it possible to organize an event at the museum?

The MAPI offers its halls for corporate and institutional events, with all the amenities to welcome your clients and friends.

Is the MAPI a public institution?

The MAPI is a mixed-management cultural enterprise under the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Montevideo
