Places I’ve never been
MAPI and the CdF present the exhibition “Places I’ve never been”, by photographer Alejandro Almaraz, as part of Fotograma:13.
Alejandro Almaraz was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His work relates photography to the phenomena of new technologies and their social impact. He has received awards and grants such as: first prize at the international Portfolios forum 2012. Festival de La Luz, Argentina; the FotoFest 2014 Biennial grant. Fotofest Foundation, Houston, U.S.A.; Third Prize at the Salón Nacional de Artes Visuales, 100th anniversary edition, Argentina; the Klemm Award for visual arts XIV. 2010; a Centro de la Imagen grant, Mexico, and a work-development grant. Museo Malba/Fund. Telefónica and c. Jumex.
He has shown his work in spaces such as Art Museum n.a.
