Heritage Day at MAPI

A weekend of special activities and free admission

This Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5, the Museum of Pre-Columbian and Indigenous Art joins the Heritage Day celebration with a program open to the general public. On both days, the museum will remain open from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm, with free admission so that visitors of all ages can tour our galleries, discover the permanent collections and enjoy the exhibitions on view.

In addition, on Sunday at 12:30 pm there will be a special concert by the Children and Youth Orchestra of the Suzuki Center of Montevideo, which will present a musical repertoire designed for this celebration. An occasion to share art, music and encounter in the heart of Ciudad Vieja.
