The MAPI – Museum of Pre-Columbian and Indigenous Art opens The Other Faces of Paucartambo, an exhibition that brings together Claudio Rama’s mask collection and photographs by Pilar Pedraza.
The exhibition offers a visual journey through the traditions, rituals and celebrations of Paucartambo, Peru, exploring the symbolic power of masks and their connection to identity, festivity and collective memory.
The exhibition is organized together with the Embassy of Peru in Uruguay.
