Musical instruments workshop “Sounds of America”.

Through the presentation of archaeological and ethnographic musical instruments from different regions of the Americas, participants will be able to learn about the musical life of indigenous cultures and listen to how the instruments sound, play some of them, learn how they are built, their origins, their uses, and much more.
Notions such as rhythm, melody and tuning, among others, are also addressed.
Finally, they will create a musical instrument which they will be able to take home with them.

The price includes the workshop, the materials used in the workshop and a MAPI Café snack for each child, which includes a juice and a croissant. We have options for diabetics, people with lactose intolerance or TACC free, upon request prior to the visit. Additionally, the museum offers free snacks for 2 (two) accompanying adults. If there are more than two companions per group, they can purchase the snack at a cost price of $80 at MAPI Café.
