Workshop “Indigenous Textiles: Threads, Wools and Colors”

It is a proposal that offers a tour and a close observation of textiles ranging from prehistoric American times, through contact with Europeans, to the present day. The tour ends with a workshop on the manipulation of different raw materials and the creation of a piece to take home.

The price includes the workshop, the materials used in it, and a MAPI Café snack for each child, which includes a juice and a croissant. We have options for people with diabetes, lactose intolerance, or on a gluten-free diet, upon request prior to the visit. Additionally, the museum offers a free snack for 2 (two) accompanying adults. If more than two accompanying adults attend per group, they can purchase the snack at a cost price of $146 at MAPI Café.
