Javier Hinojosa’s photographs are the result of a series of trips along the Mayan route made over several years, following the tradition established by nineteenth century travelers who went to Mexico in search of adventure and mysticism.

Javier Hinojosa undertakes a visual itinerary through the lands of the Mayab, capturing the spirit and essence of an area full of mystery and unresolved enigmas.
