Javier Hinojosa’s photographs are the result of a series of trips along the Maya route made over several years, following the tradition established by the 19th-century travelers who went to Mexico in search of adventure and mysticism.

Javier Hinojosa undertakes a visual itinerary through the lands of the Mayab, capturing the spirit and essence of an area full of mystery and unresolved enigmas. Co-organized with the Embassy of Mexico in Uruguay.

This exhibition toured the interior of our country on several occasions.
